Do not install Intel® Packet Protect until you have set up your Intel® adapters and configured PROSet II to enable IPSec.
Installation Preparation - Check to make sure your system is ready to install Intel Packet Protect.
Set Up Adapters - Install and set up your Intel adapter and configure PROSet II to enable support for IPSec.
Install (or update) Intel Packet Protect from the Intel CD.
You can run a network with mixed versions of Intel Packet Protect. However, if you are using Entrust certificates, you must download a software patch and update the computers with the older version of Intel Packet Protect. Go to http://support.intel.com, go to the downloads page, and search by filename for "pprpatch".
If you need to uninstall Intel Packet Protect, follow these steps.
